Before moving day
- Register your tenancy in Ejari
- Ask the building for a move-in / move-out permit
- Book the service lift and loading bay
- Transfer or activate DEWA
- Set up internet and district cooling
- Confirm move-out clearance at the old building
- Share inventory or a video survey with your movers
- Pack a first-night box (kettle, chargers, toiletries, bedding)
On the day
Keep passports and valuables with you. Walk the empty flat with the crew lead before trucks leave. At the new place, place boxes by room labels and check high-value items first.
